The Celebration of North State Wine online auction is open to all fans and supporters of Palo Cedro Park and beyond who register to bid. All items are available for bid via smartphone, tablet or computer. Each item has a description and lot number. Persons desiring to bid must do so by registering to bid and accessing the Greater Giving platform. Each increase in bid must meet or exceed the minimum increment assigned to each item.
PRO TIP– Let the system bid for you. Place max bids on your favorites by utilizing the “Max Bid” tab located within each item. Set it and forget it!
The Online Auction will open on Monday, April 12, 2021. The Silent Auction packages will close at approximately 12:00 pm on Sunday, April 18, 2021. Bidding on all Live Auction items will open and end between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm on Saturday, April 17 during the live stream event, and each item will indicate exact ending time in their description. Palo Cedro Park has the right to adjust auction close time based on the evening program, but will notify all bidders via text if there is a new auction close time. During the course of the night, reminders will be sent via text message leading up to the close of the Online Auction.
All items must be purchased at the close of the auction and must be claimed and picked up at the Palo Cedro Community Park, 9472 Cedro Rd # 8, Palo Cedro, CA 96073, California. If an item cannot be picked up the Palo Cedro Park Board of Directors will ship it to the winning bidder at the bidders expense. We will contact winning bidders by email the week of April 19th to discuss our pick-up dates and times that adheres to local safety measures.
All items not picked up and paid for by Friday, May 14, 2021 shall be resold by the Palo Cedro Park Auction or donated back to the 2022 Palo Cedro Park Auction. By bidding, the bidder agrees to be bound by these conditions of purchase.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL, NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES WILL BE MADE. All payments must be made by credit card (AMEX, Discover, MasterCard, or VISA) by the end of the event April 18, 2021.
The seller does not warrant and expressly denies responsibility for, and in no event shall be responsible or liable for the accuracy of the description of the items offered, or the correctness of the catalogue, including, but not limited to: the origin, rarity, age, rating, genuineness, quantity, aging potential, present and future quality or condition of the wines or other lots described. All statements by seller are merely statements of opinion and are not to be relied upon by prospective purchasers as warranties or representation of fact.
All items are sold “AS IS.”
All trip, dining and activity packages are sold as described. Substitutions of destinations, itineraries, facilities, accommodations, dates or associated activities are not available through seller and requests for same will not be accepted.
Any trips or events comprising all or part of an auction lot shall, unless otherwise speciﬁed in the lot description, be subject to convenient scheduling by the lot donors and the successful bidder. Attention: Some trips and events are date speciﬁc and cannot be rescheduled.
Auction service items must be used prior to the expiration date listed on the certiﬁcate or, if no expiration date is explicitly stated, within one year of this auction, unless otherwise agreed to by the seller. Seller does not make any representation of warranty and is not responsible for the quality or usability of any items sold.
For federal income tax purposes, the Palo Cedro Community Park is classiﬁed as a tax-exempt corporation under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). Bidders may be entitled to deduct a portion of their payments for auction lots as a charitable contribution. Each bidder should consult his or her tax advisor regarding the actual fair market value and the deductibility for state and federal income tax purposes. The Palo Cedro Community Park will provide documentation as required by law following the auction.
